AUBO Robotics Inaugural Announcement of Three New Cobots
The AUBO i10 six axis collaborative robot (cobot) is making its International debut this week. The 10 kg payload, long reach robot is available worldwide this December 1st, 2018. The rest of the new Cobot offerings, 3 Kg, 7 Kg payload robots will be released in the first quarter of 2019 rounding out the AUBO product line. These low cost, high precision collaborative robots are changing the game in the global manufacturing marketplace.
AUBO robots are known for their precision, speed, flexible, easy of redeployment in an automation environment. These four models have a small footprint and lightweight design, increasing their versatility and making them ideal for mounting on the floor, ceiling, or even wall, which saves floor space that is a premium at most all manufacturing facilities.. The teach pendant that enables easy programming coupled with hand guiding, so the user can program the robot by leading it through the motion points or trajectory necessary to complete the task and record the path. The AUBO robotics product line now consists of the AUBO-i3, 3 Kg payload with 625 mm reach, AUBO-i5, 5 Kg payload with 924 mm reach, AUBO-i7, 7 Kg payload with 1150 mm reach and AUBO-i10, 10 Kg payload with 1350 mm reach.
The following are some of the advantages of having a collaborative robot in your facility:
- Efficient: Increased speed can improve the production capacity and compensate for the time loss caused by manual labor.
- Precision: Accuracy can reduce the production cost and increase profit margins.
- Convenient: Small footprint and lightweight exterior allows plants to integrate into existing machinery and floor space.
- Easy operation: The robot provides a simple operating system which allows workers to quickly deploy an application task without prior programming experience.
- Safety: The above characteristics lay the foundation for the safety of the AUBO robot, and force feedback system provides reliable security for man-machine cooperation.
- Price: Quick return on investments and low acquisition cost.
Robotic automation is now a possibility for companies of any size. The fast return on investment, quick deployment, easy-to-use and versatile automation solutions needed to increase flexibility, lower cost and accelerate innovation. AUBO Robots feature a rich, user friendly setup that get them up and running in a real production environment without programming skills, through hand-guide-to-teach motion planning, ideal for most high mix or small batch applications . We look forward to helping companies make use of this new technology and gain competitive advantage in manufacturing environments while removing dangerous and repetitive tasks performed by workers today. Manufacturers are increasingly turning to collaborative robots to improve efficient flexible automation that will increase quality, improve flexibility, and drive return on investment.
About AUBO Robotics
AUBO Robotics developed a new generation of light-weight collaborative robots. The company originates from a university spin-off by several experts in the robotics field. AUBO Robotics has R&D centers located in the United States and Beijing, with distributors worldwide. AUBO Robotics holds several core patents, industrial solutions, and strategic cooperation with several public companies.
This robot arm was specially designed with important functions from the start, combining state of the art technology with user friendliness to make this collaborative robot (Co-bot). The open source architecture enables the robot operating system (ROS) to be supported though API for industrial, research, and academic use. Low cost of ownership and high positional repeatability are some of the other criteria that makes up the outstanding features of this robot.
Based in Tennessee, AUBO Robotics products are available in Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. The continued global expansion of our distribution channels and integrators make it easy to buy worldwide. For more information, please visit www.aubo-robotics.com
